How document and AI usage is counted
- One analysis = one file read by the AI provider your administrator configured. Re-uploading the same file does not count again.
- Spreadsheet imports, manual entry and text-only PDF reading are not counted.
- AI provider charges are billed by that provider to the account whose API key is configured; CivilMargin does not resell AI usage.
- When the monthly allowance is used up, uploads still work with text extraction and manual entry.
Good to know
- Limits count active and on-hold projects. Completed and archived projects stay readable and do not count.
- After the trial your data stays available to read; you choose a plan to keep adding records.
- A short paid onboarding pilot (guided BOQ and cost import) can be arranged for any plan.
- Prices are being validated with pilot customers and may change.
